818, Healing and the Garden

Even Isaiah 62 is mentioned. This word sums up much of what I am going through. Healing is happening.

Thank You, Jesus.

HEALING FOR THE WATCHMEN ON THE WALL

LYN KOST

AUGUST 2018

Recently Bonnie and I were ministering out of town. I had been asking for a word to share and had not gotten anything as of the start of the meeting. We entered into a great time of worship and about mid-way through there was an inspired word given about the King’s Garden and how the Garden would draw people in. Bonnie nudged me and commented on the overhead monitors. The screensaver displayed streams of polygons tumbling from center-screen outward. The effect was very entrancing and almost looked like dew drops glistening on Charlotte’s Web minus Charlotte the spider. Near the end of worship one of the worship leaders began singing an inspired song about the Lord drawing out the venom from a snake bite.

As his inspired song began I received an emergency text from my wife. My youngest daughter, Sophia, had been bitten by a spider and was being taken to urgent care. I kept my focus as best I could on “what is God doing/saying”. After a few more texts I found out that the bite was on her left foot. By this time worship was over and I was being introduced. I could feel anxiousness and a disjointed hectic attack trying to seep its way into my thoughts. I sent a quick last text asking for details as I stood up to speak.

I shared just momentarily about things lining up even when we aren’t aware of them, how we can be focused on the outcome of one thing and not be aware of many other related outcomes. Everyone seemed to understand what I was talking about so I went a bit more transparent with them. I shared how at that moment my youngest girl was headed to urgent care for a spider bite. I pointed to the worship leader and told him that I knew it was going to be fine because of his song at the same moment that I got the text. We all quickly agreed and so I moved deeper. I began to explain what the left foot and a spider bite represented when I got a series of 4 texts. Here is what they said.

“She said she was walking on the Garden Wall and a little brown spider jumped out bit her climbed down the wall climbed back up the wall and bit her again. She does have two bites.

It’s the top right above her toes. I just went into Urgent Care they saw her without charging me for it. Doctor looked at it there in the front room. She said it’s definitely a spider bite and it is very painful but since she’s not vomiting and doesn’t have a temp it’s not dangerous. I’m to give her pain killer and keep track of her temperature.

If she vomits or if it starts looking necrotic I have to bring her to the ER

Thank God they didn’t charge me and they looked at her”

As I read the texts out loud the place erupted with praises to God. Then I had the word that I had asked to share earlier.

It is a time like no other on earth. Creation is groaning more and more often for the manifestation of the children of God. We find ourselves positioned before tremendous challenges and limitless potentials.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, with their voices they shall sing together; for they shall see eye to eye when the Lord brings back Zion. Break forth into joy, sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem! For the Lord has comforted His people, He has redeemed Jerusalem. The Lord has made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.  (Isaiah 52:7-10)

The name “Sophia” means “Wisdom”. There have been Watchmen on the King’s Garden Wall that have been bitten/wounded in their wisdom. Whether it’s Godly Wisdom or Natural Wisdom, the enemy has bitten it just the same. Brown can represent a servant/service. Something small happened to the watchmen while in service on the Garden Wall. A disagreement, a small injustice or some misunderstanding occurred more than once while in service with their Godly callings. These bites happened above and between the middle, ring and pinky toes. There has been an irritation in the service of intercession between the evangelists, pastors and teachers; both in giftings and offices. This wound came as they served in faith. Among other things the left side represents ministry whereas the right side represents faith. Now is an opportune time for the Body of Christ to move into the ministries of things that we had only had faith for previously. What we are about to see is the Body taking a step in agreement with God, moving from the right foot to the left. (See Amos 3:3) It is an opportune time because the King’s Garden is about to open wide which will draw people in.

12 A garden enclosed Is my sister, my spouse, A spring shut up, A fountain sealed.

16 Awake, O north wind, And come, O south! Blow upon my garden, That its spices may flow out.
Let my beloved come to his garden And eat its pleasant fruits.    (Song of Solomon 4:12 & 16)

Those spices are the sweet fragrance of the goodness of God. When that south wind blows we are going to start seeing both a large in taking and a further dichotomy in the world. (See Romans 2:4 & 2 Corinthians 2:14-16) The injured watchmen however need healed first. As a body, we all move in as one; and we cannot enter into the ministry that He has for us with open wounds. (See Leviticus 21:21) This healing is already underway, and as the bitterness and pain leave we will notice that there was nothing put to our charge.

I find it particularly interesting that the doctor came out from the back, where they normally work, to the front room/waiting area. There is a lot in this. First, it is a confirmation that we cannot enter into what is coming until we get some healing for those watchmen. Second, God is going to reveal something about Himself that we haven’t seen. It is a new aspect of His Love, that when we agree with it will propel us into that ministry. I find Godly coincidence in His timing, that this word is coming in August 2018 or 8:18.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.    (Romans 8:18-25)

Be encouraged, it is a time for healing and continue moving forward in the Lord. The healing is underway and with our watchmen healed we will be free to step into agreement with God no longer from a hopeful perspective but from a standpoint of ministry. The King’s Garden is about to release its fragrance and with that a great shift will begin.

You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; but you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married. For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you. I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.    (Isaiah 62:4-7)

However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.   (1 Corinthians 2:6-10)
