Life and a new name: Josh

Things are coming ot a head.

Yesterday at Bridgeway, I saw that many in the church were feeling similar to me. Even Scott Pearson was quite pissy. Something is up.

Scott and I had coffee last night. We uncovered that we are viewing things wrongly. And, we committed to laughing, praising, worshipping, thanking, checking with our wives each night and reading Psalms.

The devil can’t have us. It is time to repent.

Bless the LORD.

We had lunch with Rick and Karen Mann and John and Kathy Ursich. They had lots of words for us and ended up giving us 370 dollars. God continues to watch our steps. He is bringing people in at just the right time.

The season has been hard.

I am also thinking quite a bit that God would call me Josh.

it’s a big deal when the LORD names you. Israel has been coming to mind.

John – grace, favor of God

Joshua – God is salvation, God saves

Both apply, but God is renaming me or calling out this specific name for a reason.
