Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!
Note: 7 virtues that Jesus is worty of receiving.
We go from John’s excitement of there being One who is worthy of opening the seals. The seals are then opened, and look to see what they are. Destruction. Death. Dispair.
Why is there excitement about this release?
What is the correlation between the worthiness of the Lamb, the excitement of One being worthy of opening these, the 7 virtues and the actual seals themselves.
The Seven Seals:
What if each seal is actually a description of the seven mountains. The horses, etc. is already being done. Instead of there being a release of these seals, perhaps there is authority to STOP these from being poured out.
Perhaps it is the role of the saints to take back the mountains. With faith, we can say to this mountain “go jump into the sea”, and it will. Bless God.
Worthy is Jesus, who died for us to make it so that we can go take the mountains. He will receive all that Revelation 5 prophecies. And, we will be the ones to help make it happen.
