Jeep and God

My Jeep started acting up after I got back from CO. I had the break pads replaced. A month after I got back, the car shook every time you stepped on the breaks.

Well, the rotors were bent or something. So, Midas turned them for free, and things were good.

By the fall, they were shaking again. Now, that is bizarre. Why would that happen?

Then, my transmission started slipping.

And, I needed a tune-up. And, the car felt like it was riding on train tracks when you got to 65 miles an hour.

So, I took the car to Scott’s to have it checked out. They said that something was wrong with the transmission but couldnt tell what. I didnt get a good vibe from the dude that I was working with so I told him not to do anything. I then took it to Chrysler, and my buddy Joe was there. He had left and now was back.

Well, I told him about the issues, and he took a look. After a day with the car, he told me that it needed all kinds of stuff to the tune of $2,500.

I shared it with Laura, and she got bent. It seemed that the LORD was exposing something in her heart about us not being able to get a house because the savings were being depleted. But God…

I felt that we should get all the work done if we could at $2,000. I asked Laura to be with that and that we would decide the next morning.

She was ok with that more out of giving up than faith. But, God…

So, we got the car fixed.

When I got it back, they had found that shaking thing but ran out of time to figure it out.

So, I took it back. They gave me a free loaner.

I found out that the front axle was messed up. So, they offered to repair it for free. But, the axle was $450 for Chrysler and $100 for after market. I told them to go with after market.

They had it for several days. When I got it back, the first time that I drove it, it felt like the wheels were going to come off. I took the car back.

They had it for a day and told me that the after market part was too short and that it had damaged the axle as well. They were going to replace it for free.

So, we ended up getting all that work done for $2,100.

Then, my folks gave me about $1,200 for Christmas and Birthday and Loraine gave me $200. Laura got a bonus for $860.

That just about does it, eh. We actually ended up with my car fixed and more money in the bank than when we started dealing with the issue.

But God…

But God is amazing. He just always comes through.

Bless the LORD
