The Vision
A naked lady bathes under a waterfall. She sings to the LORD and is full of joy in her heart. I see sharks in the pool below the waterfall. They swim around eating the babies and small children who are floating in the pool. The woman is oblivious to it all.
I see, on the shore, the mothers of those babies and the children crying out with great sorrow for they know not what to do. Those who muster the courage to venture into the pool individually are quickly consumed by the sharks.
Above the waterfall, court is in session. I see Jesus crying out for justice in a fit of anger. He points down below to the pool, and all of heaven gasps. Angels line the cliffs above and eagerly await the order. They are armed with all kinds of weapons, even fishing and scuba gear – spear guns, nets and harpoons. Justice will soon be served.
The woman finishes bathing herself and puts her wedding dress back on and walks through the trees and along a path leading away from the pool. She vanishes out of site while the carnage continues.
Thunder looms on the horizon as heaven starts to open.
“It is time” is the decree from heaven. “It is time!” No longer will my bride remain unaware and uninvolved. The blood of my children shall be upon her hands. She will serve justice. She will be the voice.
As the woman comes to a clearing on the path, a great light from heaven shines upon her. In an instant, all of the dirt and stains that she had been trying so hard to remove are illuminated. She sees them and cries out. It disgusts her and all the scrubbing and scratching wont remove it. Her ears suddenly hear the cries from the pool. The noise is deafening. She tries to cover her ears to keep the sound out. It only gets louder. She looks for a place to run to. The forrest seems so dark and frightening. Horror comes upon her. Great horror.
She feels the weight of her own sin. She breaks and falls to her knees. She reaches her hands to heaven and cries out. Save me!
In that instant, Jesus appears. He embraces her and comforts her. Fire is in His eyes. Quickly, He restores her to Himself and lays a new coat upon her. this is a coat of iron. It is strong and impenetrable. He points the way of the path back to the pool and directs her to move out.
With determination, she marches back and is joined by all the forces of heaven to destroy the devourers and bring back the babies and children to their families – and to Him.
The Verse
Ephesians 5:8-14 (New American Standard Bible)
8 for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light
9 (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth),
10 (trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.
11 Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them;
12 for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.
13 But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.
14 For this reason it says,
“Awake, sleeper,
And arise from the dead,
And Christ will shine on you.”
The Call
The church is asleep, and she doesn’t even know it. As the world grows darker, the bride slumbers. People are dying. Souls are being lost. But, Jesus is alive! He is alive. And He is coming. He is moving about on the earth in a new way. He is bringing hope.
Just look at what’s unfolded in the last couple of months. The move of God today is our light shining on a dark path. And, He is coming down to earth to meet us and wake us up – and is doing it with kindness. Bless God. How He loves His children. We are seeing a great move of the supernatural grace of God. In places around the globe, people are flocking from everywhere to get in His presence and be made whole. The yearning inside of us is profound. People have been searching aimlessly for so long.
Ultimately, the issue is nothing new. We have been bound by the god of the world. We have become a foul odor, blemished and unclean yet we do not even know it. The sin of the people is abundant. We have turned our backs on the LORD, and the fruit of it is plentiful. Israel did this time and time again. But, we are enlightened. We get to see things that others from long ago only dreamed of. We are accountable. We are responsible. The traditional church has done little to nothing to advance the kingdom. In fact, people are increasingly becoming more interested in other world religions. Look at the growth of the new-age, Islam and even wicca. There is a hunger in people for God, a great hunger, and people will look anywhere to find it. We must help them find the living God – not some ideology or idol made by hands.
The efforts of man have produced little fruit indeed. We should be so attractive that the lost flock to us. The bride is spotted. The bride is blemished. This is not right. This is not right at all. But Jesus is alive! Jesus is coming back for a spotless and unblemished bride. It is time to be made whole so that the whole world can come to know Him. There is a world-wide call to awaken.
It is time! His children are dying. It is time!
The LORD is shaking all that can be shaken, and the Bride is needing a shaking. There is a new thing coming. She will be spotless. She will be blameless. Her banner is beauty. Her banner is grace. Her banner is LOVE.
She will come out of her slumber with a kiss from her King and arise and shine. It is time, indeed.
New Thing
God is moving. He is doing it. The kingdom is of power, not of words. God is bringing power to the body and to the world. His glory is being seen all around. A new thing is being done. There is a breakout of the supernatural. Miracles of all kinds are occurring – even creative miracles where missing body parts suddenly appear. Dead people are coming back to life. There is a grace for all kinds of healing – healing of body, spirit and soul.
The healing breakout is just the beginning. The LORD says in Joel 2:28 that He will pour out His spirit on ALL mankind, and young people will prophesy and old men will dream dreams and young men will see visions. The spirit of prophesy is prevalent. There is a youthful generation of the prophetic that is rising up. God is doing a new thing.
Yes, there is a grace for miracles. Many people are being anointed to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and yes, cast out demons. Healing is not for “them”. It is for you. You can do this. It is His will. Matthew 10:7-8 commands us to do it “as we go”. The LORD is using creative works to point back to Himself. The current move of God is one continual act of kindness. We are not in a state of punishment or wrath. We are loved by the Most High, and He is showing it in amazing ways. Amazing and creative miracles are taking place everywhere. God is doing a global thing.
When I was having lunch in Boulder recently, the LORD gave me a word of knowledge for a non-believer, who had a shoulder injury. The man got healed, and he got to experience firsthand the love of Christ. He had all his beliefs and such, but when he encountered Jesus face to face and was touched by Him personally, the game was over. Jesus is coming to the people. He is alive.
There is also a grace for evangelism. The word of God is coming from golden tongues, anointed with the Word. The weight of heaven backs the spoken word. The power of God is displayed in many, many ways. The anointed word moves heaven into action. People hear and are pierced through the heart. A spirit of conviction lies upon the land. The Holy Spirit has already been preparing the hearts.
I took my family to see Bill Cosby at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. As we walked along Peachtree Street heading into the Theatre, a man was standing across the street reading directly from the Word and preaching to all who passed by. There was a stream of God’s presence coming from him directly into the theatre. It was an actual substance that you could step into and feel the LORD. If you moved back, it went away. People directly in the path of this man’s voice were being anointed by the Word coming from this man. God’s grace was falling upon all who passed by – many unknowingly.
There is an apostolic release in the kingdom. God is raising up commanders of hundreds and commanders of thousands. He is empowering his people with a supernatural grace to build and expand the kingdom. A “great grace” is being poured out among his people to do the greater works that Jesus spoke of. The bride shall move in unity with true apostolic leadership.
Acts 4:33
And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.
In the church, pastors will move back into the role of shepherds. Relief will come to those pastors who have worn so many hats and have been made weary from walking out a call that was not theirs to walk. In the market, new pastors will come into being that will shepherd their flocks boldly where once it was “taboo” to talk about Jesus.
New teachers are emerging to make disciples out of those brought into the kingdom. There is an outpouring of gifts – major gifts to do the work. A spirit of knowledge and understanding is being poured into teachers to raise up new believers in swift fashion.
Prophetic warriors are being raised up to speak the LORD’s heart in all areas. People are hearing and seeing at levels not seen before. Dreams, visions and creative strategies are being loosed into the body to guide the way.
Truly, there is a building up of the body for the equipping of the saints.
And, a new wind blows to renew the mind!
Those bound in religion will certainly find offense to this move of God. And, God is shaking that Pharisaical spirit right out of the bride. Many, who call themselves disciples, will find offense to what Jesus is doing and simply walk away. Purity will remain. The leaven of Herod is also being shaken. Fear of man and desire for the world are being removed. And the Sadduciacal spirit is being broken. No longer will unbelief in what God does move through the denominational and mainline churches or even on the streets. People will come to see and believe that God does raise the dead. Demons are real and need to be cast out. Sickness can and will be healed. Diseases can be cleansed. The principalities that dominated the thinking of the bride are losing ground. They are being broken off. There is a release for Truth. It is time. It is time.
The Spirit of God is moving in the saints. He is removing the old and putting in the new.
New Body
The LORD is raising up a new body. He is doing a new thing. It is, indeed, time! There is a mobilization of believers. People are being made ready to catch the great harvest that is coming. It is coming now.
In the church, we will see unification along lines that were once divisions. Churches operating in the Spirit will serve and be connected with churches that attract the masses. Purity is coming into the church once again. Spirit and truth WILL be the mode of worship. Put your hands up, if you want. You worship God, not man! Freedom is the word. Freedom! Humility and grace will flow without limit. LOVE rather than doctrine will become the priority.
In the market, kingdom companies will arise to the head, and favor will rest upon them. Business will move in the direction of those seeking the LORD and His objectives. This favor will open the eyes of the lost. Pharaoh will seek out Joseph. It will also create conflict with those whose hearts simply will not turn. Yes, the heat will increase as people are forced to consider whether they are for or against. No more will the people be lukewarm. There will be no going to church on Sunday and living a life apart from God the rest of the week. Jesus is King of all days. Those serving the King will dine with the King and enjoy the spoils and plunder of the enemy.
Great amounts of wealth will transfer from the wicked into the hands of the righteous. Kingdom-minded companies will fund ministries and other areas that historically have suffered lack. We will once again see believers coming together, giving whatever they can and no one having need, just as we did in Acts.
The prophetic will rise once again to serve leaders within companies. Their ability to hear the LORD will bring acceleration for those willing to listen to what God has for their businesses in these days. We are seeing a great release of the gifts of the Spirit in these days, and these gifts will manifest in all types of people and in all areas of work – from the mailman to the boardroom. God is no respecter of persons. His Spirit will pour out on people everywhere.
There is an emerging of the lines of faith where we will all walk in His Glory all day, every day.
Wake Up
No longer will the bride walk around asleep. She will be awake. She will be vibrant. She will show the love of our God to all. His love will permeate all of existence. It is time to take back what has been robbed of us. His children have been dying every day. The enemy has been devouring them. We have been asleep. No longer will that remain. The cry is SLEEPER AWAK!. AWAKE! For Jesus is alive. He is ALIVE!
