Larry and I met at Starbucks today. While talking, a man sat down near us and was working on his computer. He overheard us talking and asked us to be quiet. I raised up against him for we were talking about what God has been doing.
Well, that was a failure. I didnt show him the love of Christ.
Yes, it’s ok to talk about Christ. Yes, it’s ok to confront about Christ. But, humility says that I should have spoken boldly about the Gospel and then honored the guy by moving from where we were sitting so that he could work. He got mad at some ladies that were also talking for being loud. There was something going on there that my pride wouldnt let me reach.
I missed a great chance to come to know the guy and possibly introduce him to Jesus.
I need more humility. I sucked on that one.
Father, I am sorry. Forgive me, please.
