I dreamed that I saw Pat Jarvis. He was a prominent consultant to businesses. He and another guy were talking about how the “company” bought him this car. When it showed up, he knew he was in.
They had some kinda secret methodology they followed to help businesses. I was trying to figure out what the next stage of my life encompassed and started wondering if I should join this program.
Next, I was in some kind of conference. There were speakers on building businesses. Some person passes me a note card. On it had about four or five very simple steps. A. B. C. with just a couple words. She had marked off the options for me under each section. It was just a few steps, but they were profound.
Finally, I was pondering in the dream whether it would be better to consult to companies or build a program that allowed folks to use our tools to help companies. Even business owners themselves could subscribe and be in a much better position as they worked on their own businesses.
I was thinking how the gold miners went broke but the folks who sold them the picks, axes and dynamite (tools) became the real ones to made it.
My thoughts:
- Develop programs on the various facets of starting and growing a business. Wisdom’s House.
- Each facet needs to be real simple, almost too obvious so that anyone could implement the concept and see fruit from it.
- Look at different ways to make the material available. You could have a network of consultants who use your material in their own practices, we could have our own network of consultants and folks could subscribe to a content-driven channel where they could choose a topic like Marketing that then gave them really good ideas/concepts on what they can do in their own business. We could even have folks on staff who chatted or were available for call-ins to answer questions.
