Going after the blind

We went to the Vine for church today. Laura and I actually got into a fight this am about which church to go to. She wanted browns bridge. I told her that she was on her own. I am done with the devil using my family to keep me out of His will.

Some decisions a man just has to make.

Well, we soon found out why the resistance.

At service, I just couldnt connect with the LORD. Worship was low, and I kept thinking about being at Bethel.

The preacher was good enough, but it felt more like a confession hour than anything else.

Yep, I was just in a posture of judgment. Well, these were not thoughts from the LORD.

They did communion towards the end, and I saw a girl coming back down the aisle with a cane. She was dealing with blindness. I watched where she went and told Laura that I was going to go pray for her when service ended.

I walked up to her and introduced myself. Melissa told me that her optic nerves were dying. She was losing her sight and hadnt seen much for about a year. I asked her if I could pray for her, and she said yes. Laura was coming up by then, and I started praying.

Well, God showed up in a crazy way. I could tell because Melissa started crying, and Laura was crying. I knew that God was doing something.

I prayed once, and she said that her sight had improved. Now, I felt the weight of Holy Spirit in a crazy way. My body was shaking. We prayed again. Her sight got better. And, the anointing was increasing.

After a few times, she was starting to really see things in ways that she hadnt seen in a long time. Her brother walked up to her, and she was startled when she could read his shirt. He was concerned that we were doing something to her. I rebuked fear off of him and released the peace of Jesus to him. He then could see that the LORD was healing her. So, I had him pray for her because he had so much love for his sister.

Then, I had Melissa’s mom pray for her. She was moved with the love that only a mom has.

And, her sight kept getting better.

Finally, I prayed one more time, and I prayed for the Holy Spirit to fill her. I heard, “it is finished” and just let it alone. I knew that the LORD had done His work.

Amazing stuff. It had to be one of the biggest miracles that I got to participate in.

I am not sure what the LORD is releasing in me. But, I do pray that the anointing increase. I pray that God’s glory be seen all over the land. Bless the LORD. He is amazing. He is so good.

All glory is Yours, Father. Thanks, Jesus!
