Jack getting golf lessons from a real pro

We are looking to get Jack Golf lessons from Dewitt Weaver. Dewitt played on the senior tour and was pretty good. He even beat Jack Nicklaus, as you can see below from his blog.

Here is the thread from my dad to Dewitt.

John & Jack, I heard back from DeWitt about golf lessons. Check out what he had to say.

When we can work it out I would love to. Go to www.dewittweaver.com and there is tons of information on the golf swing, even a section on instruction that I believe in. After that lets talk and work out something for him. You know I will be more than fair in working out the expense. Your friend, DeWitt

Subject: Golf Lessons?

Hi Dewitt,

I don’t know if this is a dumb question, but I’m just wondering if you give golf lessons these days. I am thinking about my 15 year old grandson. He is a golf rookie. Been to a couple golf camps, but has a long way to go with fundamentals. He is playing with some friends these days, and is searching for a sport he can get into. If you give lessons, I’m thinking about a couple lessons for now to get him started. Am I making any sense?

Bear Trap

BEAR TRAP CATCHES TIGER One of the the great thrills in my life was to play with Jack Nicklaus the last round of the Senior PGA Championship at the PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. in 1994. Ole DeWitt whipped ole Jack by 4 shots and finished fifth in the tournament. Did that make me the best senior player in the world? Nope, just fortunate one day to be inspired to play out of my head. This week the Honda Classic is being played right there at PGA National. I expect Tiger to fill up the lakes facing the Bear Trap at 15, 16, 17 and 18. Should be a wonderful tournament and a great one for Mickelson, Garcia, Bradley, Westwood and McIlroy. You might throw in Mahan and Stricker for good measure. Truly I am going back to my ole way of picking; strictly by swing and character. Enjoy Ps 37:4.
