I met with the folks at Kanbay again today. Bala came down from Chicago to meet with me and one other dude. I also met with one of the VP’s from the BI practice. This job will be great for me, if God wants me there. I have seen a big escalation in demonic attack these last few days, including this morning where I took some stuff out on Jack and none of my computers worked. Now, they work fine – now, that the interviews are over.
Also, when I was on my way down, I got several calls from various folks. It was one right after another. God was telling me that He was right there with me. It gave me lots of confidence knowing that He was.
So, 2.5 hours later, I sit in Atlanta Bread waiting on another friend to meet with me to discuss job hunting. I talked with the CEO of Renovo Data yesterday about our misconnect. It seems that she had emailed me back stating that we had to change our times, but I never got the email. Not sure what that was about. Demonic? Blessing?
I got a sense that Marci, the HR person with Kanbay was not sharing the full story with me on their hunt for a person. She told me that they had several folks in line and were trying to whittle it down to the top two after this week. When I talked with Bala, he told me that he was in town to interview me and one other dude. He was headed on vaca this Friday and wanted to make a decision by tomorrow.
Crazy. It is comforting to know that my DAD has control over this whole thing. Bless Him.
