Last day with Kelby – craziness God's way

Halfway through the day yesterday, Kelby told me that I had failed to answer his question in how I saw myself playing in DI.

I avoided it and let Kelby speak to his passions, dreams, etc. He went on about how he was not really the guy to be CEO and that his energy was in mentoring. The net is that he is looking hard at replacing himself with someone. Funny, give what God had told me just that day.

I shared my journal entries from the last couple of days and told him that I would be interested. I am just hesitant on anything cause I dont want to get my hopes up.

I have seen God orchestrate things so many times before only to have a big lesson come out of it.

But, God is in this. I know it to be. DI is where He wants me, and He wants me leading it.

I gave Kelby my 3 areas of concern (role, equity and comp) and am letting him pray through it.

We begin a corporate fast tomorrow for 3 days. We are praying for the City of Denver project, which did come up in our conversation with a competitive sales rep as we were interviewing her. Crazy on that too.

Bless God, it is time to cross the Jordan.
