Laura’s thoughts on the job hunt

I have had a thought in my head that I have been trying to piece together for a while. Here goes…In reading For Women Only it talks about how men relate to one another in business, they(men) typically don’t want to know your every thought and feeling. You can’t bare your soul and every weakness, save that for me and a few close relationships. I know that you would like for everyone to be transparent but they are not and it makes them uncomfortable in your presence when you bare it all. If they talk to Trey they will know that you didn’t leave because you were a dishonest person or a traitor. I suspect that they don’t really care about your hard heart or what God was doing with you. They want to know that you left on decent terms and that you are not a thief. They want to know if you can do the job at hand and the answer to that is yes and you will have a good attitude about the task. I don’t know if this says it all but it is at least a part of what has been going through my mind about some of your discussions relating to jobs. I think mostly they want to just stick to business and not about your heart. I hope this came out o.k. Helpful not hurtful. I love you. Laura
