So, this past weekend, Mike and I traded jeeps. That was crazy.
The events:
1) Laura wanted the jeep gone. I couldnt see why. God delivered it. I didnt want to confuse the kids.
2) I felt pressed to get rid of it because it created division between Laura and I. Laying it down and loving her says to sell the jeep. God doesnt care about me keeping it.
3) Randy had problems with his email two weeks ago.
4) On a Tuesday, I called Mike for help.
5) Mike helps and then says, btw, that he is headed for a rafting trip. Can he take the jeep for the weekend. I said yes, of course. We met on Weds., and he took it.
6) Mike’s 2005 Liberty was for sale. I had told Mike to buy my jeep long ago, and he wanted to first sell his.
7) Mike text messages me during the week that he was loving riding around in the jeep. I told him to buy it. He said that he might once he sells his.
8) Over the next couple of days, I felt pressed to just trade. But, his was worth a bit more than mine, so I thought.
9) On Sunday, I texted Mike on whether he would simply trade. He said that he would love to.
10) Both wives were on board.
11) Mike had the jeep checked out, and everyone he talked with thought it a good idea.
12) Even my kids got on board.
13) We did the deal this weekend.
Bless God
He has destroyed the chrysler van in a total wreck and given us the pathfinder. He gave me a buick to replace the bmw. He destroyed the buick and gave me a jeep. He asked me to surrender the jeep and gave me a better jeep. He knows when its time to get a new car. This is cool.
