Today was day 3/3 for my fast. I just got done eating all kinds of yummie stuff.
God is good. You know, towards the end of a fast, I certainly start counting hours down rather than looking at the real purpose of the fast. I imagine everyone does.
Anyway, the real word came today. I went to Starbucks to work cause I was tired of sitting in my house.
I saw Jon Adams, and he prayed for me. I love that guy.
And, I saw Lauren Leeber. She was sitting outside by herself. So, I went out to say hello.
It was a nice enough conversation, but what was huge was that she had been looking for a summer job. She said that she put out a ton of applications. Then, her mom happened to run into a lady who owns a Firehouse Sub place that does business with Angela’s bank. Angela told her about Lauren’s quest for a job.
The next thing you know is that Lauren goes in to the sub shop. The lady asks her when she could start, and Lauren said that day. The lady said come tomorrow, and she will have a shirt for her.
I knew that that story was for me. God is going to do a suddenly on me, and He is going to bring me the job.
I am still going to keep plugging with all of those applications, but I know that He will do it.
