Study scripture on the triangulation of healing. Why does God heal some and not others? Is there anything that we can do to help facilitate healing?Why do some not get healed? What are our parts in healing? Sin confession, repentance, etc.?
I beleive that there are three major components to health: God, Devil & Man. Each plays a sizeable role in our health and influences whether a person is healed. Obviously, when we speak of God’s role in anything, we yield completely to Him as the omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, all Sovereign God Whose ways are not our ways and Whose understanding is above our understanding. However, we do see that God’s heart can be moved, and healing can be had. I am attempting to identify the players in healing on the escalation of events that lead to greater healing.
The part on the thrones of man was derived from Johnny Enlow’s sermon on the 7 mountain prophecy and then the 7 mountain/throne application sermon for the individual.
The players and comments:
God – Sovereignty, wills healing. Jesus healed 100%. Yet, he skipped over folks and chose not to heal them like at Bethesda.
The devil: Hates God, hates man, comes to kill, steal and destroy. his attacks often can simply be thwarted by warfare. Cast them out. Other times, hsi attacks are a product of God’s sovereignty like in Job.
Man: Our role is complete surrender. We must become living sacrifices to our God. It is my expectation that the more we surrender ourselves and each specific area to God, the more He enters into the picture and we receive blessing, which includes health. Areas that we retain control over are subject to the world since we are in the world. Sin is in the world The wages of sin is death. Areas that we dont surrender are subject to dying.

When analyzing the surrender of man to God, we must consider the composition of man: spirit, soul and body.
Spirit: Our spirit is born at the point of accepting Christ – period. Without the surrender of our eternal man & spirit, we are open to the devil’s complete dominion over our lives. Upon accpeting Christ for salvation, His Spirit is born upon us and takes up residence.
Immediately, conflict is created whereas the Spirit of God starts a work to own our hearts. This pushes out the areas of domain that we have given to the enemy. This conflict is often seen as the natural man hopefully gives way to the spirit man (sanctification). The battlefield is our soul (mind, will and emotions) and our natural body.
Soul/Inner Man: Many people give themeselves to Christ in part but never surrender themselves completely to His Lordship (John 13:13). We must ask; have we only surrendered our spirit to God and received salvation or have we surrendered our complete self and right to our self? Where we surrender completely, we can receive healing and God’s grace. This is a process. Often, we will surrender compartments of our life and receive God’a abundance in that area.
Will is a big component to this equation. God will not contradict Himself. His order has been established. If we choose to exercise our own will in a particular area, we intentionally decide to keep Him out. His absence in any certain area allows free reign in that area by the devil. We must willfully choose to surrender to God.
Sin is also a big component to this equation. Unconfessed/unrepented sin will leave dominion to the devil. Our open heart to the devil’s domain or refusal of God’s grace and mercy and love prevent God’s healing in the unsurrendered area. Like the issue of will, if we choose not to repent or confess sin in our lives, it leaves us exposed to the devil. God will not enter into an area where He has given authority to the devil. Jesus said that the prince of this world is coming. He also said that we have authority over the earth. Why is it that the devil overtakes us in any particular worldy arena. We must ask ourselves if we are retaining control over that arena and do we prevent God from entering in because of sin. When Adam and Eve fell, God removed Himself from their presence, and the devil entered in to take dominion over the world. Jesus took back the keys during His three days of descension. The availability for freedom in this area exists. This means that the availability of healing exists.
Body/Outer Man: As in the case of our spirits and souls, we must also consecrate our bodies to God. We must surrender them completely to Him for His glory. The body is the temple of the living God. Often, we experience affliction due to sin and unrepentance. Other times, the devil simply shows his nasty side, and affliction occurs. Still other times, like with Job, we can experience affliction for no other reason than God’s sovereignty. However, as Bill Johnson is showing out in Bethel Church in Redding, CA, it is very possible to bring Heaven down to earth and see remarkable and widespread healing simply through faith. There are no sick people in Heaven, and Jesus said to pray on earth as it is in Heaven.

“But He was speaking of the temple of His body.”

Thrones of Surrender/Scripture/Area of Healing:
We must present ourselves as “Living Sacrifices”, consecrated to God. Each of these areas produce much fruit when turned over completely to God. Those areas that are not surrendered remain of this world and are subject to the rule of this world, even the devil. This allows for affliction and attack to come. Without the Spirit’s cleansing, death in that area may result.

Natural Man: sometimes disease can occur as a product of the world order. All disease is a product of the fall; there was no sickness in Eden. Sin is a product of the devil. The devil wars against God. In heaven there is no sickness. “On earth as it is in heaven.”
It is not God’s will to be sick.
Disease is spiritual.
Consideration to healing:
1) Take an aspirin. pray
2) Rebuke the devil. pray
3) Confess & Repent. pray
4) Surrender pray
5) Seek God’s view of hidden things. pray
6) Yield to God’s sovereign plan. Trust. pray
7) Pray.
