Jack and I had a big time camping near Lake City this weekend.
God had something cool in mind. We drove over Cinnamon Pass to Silverton. It was rocky, and I put a dent in the skid plate. Jack thought it a bit tame.
Then, he made the comment about driving. So, I let him take us up over Engineer Pass to get back to Lake City. Ha! It was nuts.
It was steep, over rocks and dangerous.
I got hold of what the LORD was doing. Jack made the comment later that God would have to do a lot for him to trust Him. I told Jack that this time it was backwards. God was showing Jack that He trusted him and that Jack was man enough.
I congratulated Jack on his accomplishment. It was amazing. The boy did well. Or, should I say “man”…
