John 15
Fruit of the Spirit comes out of time spent with God. It is a fruit if the spirit not a fruit if man. The more time you spend in His presence, the more you will hear this fruit. The roots must go deep. Deep call to deep. God doesn’t bring tests to cause you to be more patient. Tests come to show progress. Spend more time with Him, and you will be more patient, more kind, more loving. Because as you spend more time with Him, you take on His nature. And His nature is loving, kind, patient, etc.
You are being confirmed into the image of Christ. From glory to glory. Your love, patience, kindness, etc increases over time. Growth happens. More fruit becomes evident.
