Personal Updates:

1. John: Things going better than yesterday.  Laura has had 2 calls this week on her services.
2. Read Vicki’s Prophetic Encouragement
3. Jordan: She got moved in.  We’re fighting bugs at the apartment – all kinds.  Former tenant was not very hygienic, but it is way worse than they thought it would be.  The management company is being helpful.
4. Jack: Is back from John’s parents’ house and met with his counselor at school and they got his schedule worked out.

 

Business Updates:

Laura:

1. Meeting yesterday went well.  Doing it to form a relationship with the lady – she’s very sharp and professional and knows what she’s doing.
2. The other 2 calls were totally out of the blue because they found my website.
   1. One guy from Florida, a web developer.
   2. The other I’m not sure if it was for his business or help with the website too.  Encouraging.  Thank you Lord, we welcome more and more of that.

John:

1. RockPile: They haven’t paid us yet.  They’re still planning to pay us on the 10th.  (Update:  The check came in later today.)
2. Opportunities:  I’ve had a flurry of people reaching out to me:
   1. One offered me a permanent position, but I offered to do consulting with them. I’m meeting with them on the28th.
   2. Also couple, Chris & ________, in Boston interested in NV.  They have a cool story, they’re opening daycares and they’re on fire.  They have 5500 square feet they don’t know what to do with it.  They’re interested in putting the incubator (NV) in there.  Need confirmation from God to do it.  It’s bizarre that it would start 2000 mi from here.  I met with Terry and got some more good ideas on what to do next.  Pieces coming together.
   3. Laura: My sense is, after speaking with Chris & his wife, he has good business acumen.  He’s seen enough and understands enough to know when something’s going to work.  They’re building a building and it sounds like an entry point for the incubator, but I don’t know how it would work.  John would have to commute there to get it off of the ground.  NV will be out of Denver but operate globally.  E29 will be in every town eventually.  This could just be the first one.  John:  The challenge would be me being there/not being there, once its’ up and running.
   4. Also 2 people reached out to me:

i.     One lady interested in E29, we got to talking about the Lord she may be an employee.

ii.     Other guy is in Boulder knows Nate Brown, he’s really interested in business.  They’re finding it on the web and I’m not having to do anything.  Need to know what to do.  Need capital.  If there’s a building He wants me to make an offer on, I need to know.

Prayer Requests:

1. Pray for bugs to go back where they came from (away from Jordan’s apartment)
2. Confirmation from the Lord on what to do with the new potential opportunities presented this week.  Need confirmation on what to do about Boston, woman interested in E29, and guy in Boulder.
3. We need business capital (and to know if the Lord wants us to make an offer on a building in Boston).
4. We don’t know what to request.  We don’t know what we need.  There is only one goal: that the Lord’s will be done in every facet of our lives, our marriage and our kids.  I don’t know what the next goal is for NV.  I know the Lord had me put the vision together, but I keep hearing from multiple sources not to get to rigid with the vision or plan.  Boston is a curve ball.
5. John’s anointing:
   1. I had an interesting meeting with Peter Young today; a candid conversation about why we left Bridgeway. We’re processing through that.  (I told him to share what he wanted with Rich Harris.)
   2. Ultimately I want to operate in the fullness of my anointing.  Just John.  I’ve been told by two different sources, “You’ve been passed over”.  My problem was I had an expectation on the church (and Peter) that set me up for a crash.  I’m fighting to keep a soft heart – sore spot for Laura’s and my relationship.  Peter admitted, “We don’t know how to deal with the prophetic.”  That was an honest thing I appreciated.
   3. Peter said he thought there were some words I gave him that were inaccurate.  I said, “You need to tell me so I can take it to the Lord and process it”.  I texted a word to him last week and he said, “It didn’t sit well with me and didn’t seem to apply”.  My thinking was that it might have been for the future, not today.  I don’t want to be inaccurate in the prophetic.  What I’m trying to process is Peter’s ability to judge a word vs. inaccuracy of a word.  Amy: That’s a common experience from people who are prophetic because it’s not uncommon for pastors not to know what to do with it if it doesn’t immediately resonate with them.  We’ll pray for clarity and understanding for you for what to do with that.  John:  If I need to learn how to say it differently, let’s go down that road.
   4. The Lord has me back praying for the miracles and stuff – I don’t see them like I used to.  I don’t want old testimony, I want current stuff.  I’m pressing in to that.  When I met with the dude today, there was such a childlike quality in him.  I used to call Him Dad all the time.  I use the term God more today (not Dad) and it needs to be healed.  I’ve been camped out on Psalm 51 for a while.  It refers to iniquity and asks to be given clean hands; return to me the joy of my salvation.  Joy hasn’t been in my walk for a while.  Pray for joy and childlike intimacy.

Lord, we ask you to do a mighty work in them and whatever the blockages are to his joy, that each blockage be completely, permanently removed.  Allow the joy of the Lord to well up in him.  Thank you for complete submission to the Lord god Almighty.  Thank you they’re willing to lay down their pride, ideas and will and fully submit to your design and purposes and in that place there is freedom in Christ.  Strip away the blockages that are hindering the purity and childlike faith.  Praise and thank you that the faith of a mustard seed is restored and increased in them.  Do a new thing in John that takes him higher in his relationship with you, where he is operating from the 3^rd heaven – operating in his power and authority.  If there are things they should release, bring them to mind even now.  We praise you for their willingness to seek your forgiveness and repent.

Hosea 2:14-15

“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.¹⁵ And there I will give her vineyards and make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. And there she shall answer as in the days of her youth,
as at the time when she came out of the land of Egypt.

John, as I was praying for you, Holy Spirit showed me you going around in circles. The Lord was standing waiting for you to stop and to come to Him with all that is troubling you. As you sit quietly at His Feet, and be still, He will speak and show you the way out. It is through this time of intimacy that He will answer and bring you peace and rest. The Lord’s will for you right now is to sit at His Feet.

Isaiah 61:1-3

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor;  he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;² to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn ³ to grant to those who mourn in Zion—to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness,  the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.

Laura, I believe Holy Spirit would like you to know that He is within you and upon you always. I sense that there is a call upon you to bring the Good News of the Gospel to others in a very natural and going about your business type of way. He has also given you gifts of healing. It can be by a smile, touch, prayer, encouraging word, etc. But He has anointed you for healing.

Jordan:

The Lord has many gifts for you. Some may be spiritual and some may be in the natural. I saw multiple gift boxes coming your way. I do not know the contents, but they will have many surprises in them! Be on the lookout and be excited!

Jack:

 As I was praying for you, I started singing “What a Friend we have in Jesus”. I believe the Lord is calling you into a deeper relationship with Him. He wants you to know that He is always with you and that you can call on Him at any time. He is there for you!

 

 

From Vicki:

I had interesting prayer times for you this week.  After the vision about the two of you being bound by the blood of Jesus the following are the verses I received:

 

Proverbs 26:2 (NIV)

² Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow,
an undeserved curse does not come to rest.

 

If the curses which have been spoken over you and your family (by others) are undeserved, they won’t have anything to take ahold of – they have no power.  If they are curses you’ve spoken over yourselves (even without knowing you’ve done it), that’s another matter entirely.

 

The following verse is meant to be an encouragement to both of you as you deal with your current trials.  Speak this verse over each other as a blessing.

 

Romans 15:13 (NIV)

¹³ May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Also, as soon as I started praying for E29, NV and C&B I heard the words, “rank and order” and heard the sound of marching (even a piccolo).  I believe the angels were being dispatched to bring the right clients to all of these businesses – clients of integrity and who have been called according to God’s purposes.
