Prophetic for what goes on in our hearts. The garden is our heart.
Intimacy
The Devil
Jesus intercedes for us and is at work. He sees it all.
Our pride, rebellion, unbelief, anger, etc. are exposed. God uses the devil as a tool to accomplish His purposes.
Gethsemane is where change happens.
We fail.
We fall.
We get up.
We glory.
Jesus sees all and knows all.
There are snakes in the garden.
- Sometimes we play Judas and betray. The devil can have a major impact on our lives, especially before Christ.
- Sometimes, we think we are more than we ought to, and we deny Him when the testing comes.
- Other times, our desire for greatness leads to boastfulness. Yet, children enter the kingdom and posses it.
- Still for others, our rebellion and self will leads to a slumber over us. It renders us ineffective. We fail to stay alert and sharp to the things of the spirit. We are asleep at the wheel, and the devil leads us astray.
- Sometimes, an angry heart responds carnally, and it whacks the ear off.
The less we yield to Jesus, the more the devil has his way with us. Yet, Jesus is aware of us and it all. He knows the end from the beginning and is the author/perfector fo our faith. He finishes what He starts. God’s purposes will always be fulfilled.

And, He makes intercession for us.
God is constantly at work in His garden. His process is beyond our sight quite frequently. But, His purposes remain.
Nothing can stop the heart that says yes to God.
