Repentance

The LORD is doing a cleansing before the harvest comes. I have mistakenly called this judgment, perhaps. We have a day of judgment coming.

I think that what we are seeing within the church is simply God cleaning house. He is getting rid of the dirt and crusty stuff that has grown hard over the years. It’s amazing how we can more easily wipe something away and clean it up when it first happens. If we leave it there for a while, it gets hard and brittle, and you have to take a sharp object like a chisel to it just to get it removed.

Well, there’s a lot of hardness in the church and across our country. But our LORD is releasing His heart, and this revival is about love. It is not about doomsday or punishment or anything like that. It’s about how much He loves us, has mercy, tenderness, kindness and goodness towards us.

That is why we see the healing miracles. This is why we see scars come off. There is no real benefit to a scar going away – not like cancer, anyway. But, the goodness of God says, “I know you hate how that looks”, here let Me wipe it away…

Once the cleansing is done and the bride moves back into a position of being a lover and knowing that she is loved, we will see the world taken by storm. As God continues to release His power into the saints and releases them to do His work in partnership, His kingdom will truly come.

We really should repent of our wrong view of God as the punisher rather than the lover.

O LORD, show us Your great love, every day. Help us to know it in our hearts. We have become numb to the cross. We fail to see. LORD, open our eyes, ears, minds and hearts to Your love.
